i understand that, my point is that i was hoping for a $200 price drop, not just $100. it's still out of the range im willing to spend on a game console

i was hoping to get one in time for heavonly sword but now it doesnt look like it will happen =(

your right, that does sound stupid.

as far as hikin the price back up, now way. however IF they do bring the 80GB model to the states then you can expect that to take place of the 60GB model. i know that there are no "current" plans to release that model here, that is why i said IF.
