So after running around bewteen 5 stores I managed to get a copy today and im going to go all night untill around whenever Ihave to stop and just keep giving info to those who were less fortunate. Do not worry I will try not to give out any spoilers. Update 1: Right now there is only one thing that seems odd to me, the controls. I cant seem to get either inverted or regular right. They all just seem odd and dont aim right to me but that will grow in time. I managed to start the campaign and finish the first level. So far it seems like you are given choices and it also seems as if there are many questions that are unanswered. These questions add to wanting to finish the campaign. If they are not answered in the end I will be severley dissapointed. I will note that for later so that I check for them. So far for graphics I have never seen anything better. Not any PC game can touch this that is out now, so im not going to say no game in the future will look better just right now this is absolutely the best you can get. I did see a few jaggies but im not going to bitch about it. Ive now seen how the controls work and its getting to me but its alright. There is one other problem though I have no grenades whatsoever and cant find any so thats kind of a minus. Other than that so far Im absolutely in love.
Update2: Now that I got into it I can absolutely say this is the best game out on the 360 so far and im nowhere near done with campaign. Once again you are allowed choice. I still cant find any damn grenades though and its becoming annoying because they "are very useful" in the game. Now where to find them I have no clue. The storyline keeps getting wider and wider and it seems there are many things we do not know about out own character, these I want to know. There also seems to be something big that happened with him what it is I do not know and will not tell if I find out but I will leave that up to you. Hey I told you no spoilers. Update3: Now this game is getting even better. They are giving there characters so much character. Right where I am you can see it so much and its absolutely amazing I am in no doubt awwed by this game so far. The overall theme is just amazing although it does get a little bit to dark at times and thats when I wish I had a flashlight addon or something to my gun. Grenades are "starting" to come out but still its only every once in awhile it seems as if they dont want oit used as a weapon really. I ran into a shotgun but couldnt find it so im still waiting overall so far though. AMAZING GAME. Update4: Wow this game just keeps getting better and better. Now that I have everything down I can run, dodge, cover through the levels and not worry about anything. Grenadses still arent that popular throught the maps but that dosent bother me since it is really really enjoyable even without it. With it though its so fun. The aiming system for the grenades is wierd. I always seem to throw it short even though its right on it, but I guess I have to aim a little farther away. More and more weapons are becoming availabile and they just keep getting funner and funner. One of the weapons you will get to use allows you to attack using a satellite. This weapon is amazingly strong and well its just so damn cool. There are now variations of the enemy popping up instead of one like before so you have to have some strategy as to what to do and this game is nowhere near run and gun for those who were wondering. Its more like run, cover, shoot run. So ya its not entirely strategy or entrely free for all. O ya one more thing to mention about the cover. Shooting without aiming from it is almost entirely useless. I say you have about 1/10000 a chance of killing the enemy that way. When killing that enemy they could be on one of the turrets. Ya thats right the turret is so hard to kill straight away with a gun. You need to flank it from a side but that is hard when they are in the center and there is nothing for you to take cover behind when flanking. The best way then is a grenade but so far they are scarce. Thats really all I have to say so far. Once again I am in love with this game and didnt even touch multiplayer. Update5: Finally I finished one of the five parts of the campaign. You dont know how happy I was when I finished it well because of the end which is quite annoying but im still not telling what happens. I've just started to notice all the little details such as when I reload the gun steam comes out and distorts the image behind just as in real life. Although throughout all of this I actualy had my first slowdown in this game yet. What happened was a huge concrete block edxploded right in front of my screen, I mean literally right on my screen. Its only the first so no matter I dont care. I still have not used the chainsaw often compared to most people. It just seems a little awkward to use but is fun as hell when I use it. O ya about the characters personalities they just keep getting better. The background behind each of them is what is a litle odd but adds something to the game. The next update will most likely be me playing online for the first time (ya I still didnt try it). So back to the game that wont leave my console for a year. Update6: Im now dissaponted overall with the online mode. Snip;ers are way to overpowered. One shot and your gone, wheile for every other weapon it takes forever.The maps are ok but im not totally in love with them. Im not really into the non-movable spectator either since that should be easily achievble. So overall the online mode is what brings the game down for me. Im still going to be polaying it constantly but its slightly getting better as I play on. Overall this part would only be an 8.5. Update7: As I move on throught the dffernt maps its obvious that some maps are more balanced than others. So I would take back my earlier update and say that it is a little better but still the chainsaw and sniper overpower almost anything. I think thats the only "real" downfall to this game that they didnt actually do an excellent job on multiplayer.
